A NEW Source To Get TONS of Traffic To Your Sites
Some days you just luck out on things. I will put links to things I see advertised on Traffic Exchanges that interest me into a special file called “Look at Later” and at some point I will go through these and sign-up for the program or trash it. I do the same for email; I will go through my emails quickly and if it is just another “Get this great FREE thing by signing up for yet another list“ these go into the trash and the interesting ones go into a similar file of “Look at Later”.
Well Darren Merritt’s Traffic Ad Bar (TAB) was in that email file and I almost missed it. I am always willing to give new traffic sources a try as long as they do not have me put a link to my site on a “Traffic Farm Page” – you know the ones that have a bazillion links and banners on them.
These will actually hurt you in your SERPs because they are usually so low in rank. Anyway, I read the stuff on the page and almost decided not to do it as the big thing was to put an “Ad Bar” with Adsense type ads that would come up across your website link to get you credits.
Now to me, doing this is like spending a lot of money to build a McDonald’s and then hiring the Burger King to stand in front of it to send people to Burger King – it doesn’t make a lot of sense to try to send traffic AWAY from your website.
This is like website Marketing 101: DO NOT give a customer a reason to leave your site unless it is YOUR affiliate link and makes you $$$. Any ad or link on your website that you do not get any commission on is a BIG no-no.
So it almost went the way of some other recent things like Viral Ad Seeds, Power List Marketing, and a few others until I noticed that it had a traffic exchange type thing with it.
This is how it works; you set up a time everyday that you want to get an email. In that email is 3 links to sites in the Traffic Ad Bar system.
You click on the first link and it sends you to a window like a standard traffic exchange with a 10 second timer. You have the other 2 links from the email at the top to click on.
Once you have clicked the 3 links you could be done, but you have the option to surf more (which you can also do at any time). Now I thought “What the heck, let’s see what this baby has”, and I surfed further.
Every 25 pages you get a bonus.
These increase every time you get one. I had accumulated almost 4,000 credits by the time I had finished the session. Now I have gotten over 4,000 credits in other exchanges to sit there for MONTHS and slowly trickle me traffic.
So I didn’t think much of it and figured I would see in my weekly traffic evaluation – to see who is giving me traffic and who isn’t.
Now if you are not tracking where your traffic is coming from and who provides it – how can you know what program to upgrade in and whose not to waste the money on? I do a cursory “quick glance” once a week and a more in-depth once a month to alter what I am surfing accordingly.
Well I had to do double take on the weekly glance as I had surfed a lot on the first day and a few on the subsequent days at Traffic Ad Bar.
What I was that made me do the double take was that the amount of traffic was at a level close to my top traffic sources from a few of days.
My top traffic exchanges had run the whole month and I had surfed thousands of pages in these exchanges. I had surfed at most a couple hundred pages on Traffic Ad Bar. So my socks were knocked off to say the least. The amount of hits I have gotten are in the THOUSANDS from a little bit of surfing.
This is also using the FREE version, not the improved more traffic for your efforts upgraded version.
The bottom line is that if you want to get a lot of traffic to your website, affiliate link, splash page, squeeze page, or any other page you want to promote – this is THE program to use in your arsenal of traffic generation tools.
I highly recommend it and you can check it out in the link below.
